Yesterday my boyfriend left for Darby again. I am really hoping that this is our time and in 61 days I can pin his tab and he can move to Ft Campbell and be with me. Hoping and praying and wishing and crossing all my fingers that he can make it strait through. Anyone else starting up ranger school or have a significant other there? Please let me know and we can be ranger buddies. I lost a lot of hope in the previous times from him not being able to pass, but I plan on sticking with the blog this time so it can help as many people as possible.

When does he go back to ranger school/how long does it take to get back in? and he doesnt have to go through RAP week again? I wish you both the best of luck!
Hey Derik! That is a great dream! He said it was an overall score that he did not achieve. I have heard that there are many reasons why men get recycled, especially in Darby. He is already back! Had a 12 hour pass on Saturday and an 8 hour pass on Sunday. He is in Holding Company now and does not have to go through RAP week again, but assists with it. He jumps right back in on Thursday! The best words I could ever hear from him today. Even though we are recycling, this weekend couldn’t have been more perfect. 12 hour pass today and 8 hour pass tomorrow. Got to skype with him twice already today and lots of phone time. Can’t wait to see his handsome self again tomorrow when we skype. I am so lucky to love someone so amazing. He is so strong and I am so proud of him.
AFTER 20 DAYS OF WAITING I GOT TO HEAR HIM ON THE PHONE! I couldn’t be happier. He sounds like he is in good spirits and that was the best way to wake up this morning. Now anxiously awaiting the next call/text message. This weekend is actually going to be awesome to be able to talk to him a lot! :)

No phone call today and a few confirmations that Connor has been recycled.
Advice for future ladies: do not believe anything that you hear unless you hear it from your man
I started off the day anxious and excited to hear his voice. Then someone said that he had passed and I was even more excited to hear his voice and tell him how much I love him. Then someone told me he recycled. I was so confused, I just wanted to hear whatever was going on from him. So after a full day of being completely attached to my phone, no phone call. So this most likely means the was recycled.
Then found out this information…
Darby Insert/Recycles: Guess what!? There is a silver lining to being a recycle at Darby phase and here they are:
Saturday and Sunday pass….this class will not have to wait a week to get back in the game though because 5-13 is kicking off on Sunday. Your guys should still get a Sunday pass until about 4pm
NO RAP WEEK! Phew! No waiting on pins and needles hoping you don’t receive a phone call. Your guys will be getting significantly more sleep than their fresh meat 5-13 class mates and they will be eating 3 squares a day
PHONE CALLS! You will still get phones until Tuesday or Wednesday of RAP week. Not too bad, huh?
They may jump on Saturday but they will not be repeating Malvesti or the Darby Queen obstacle course.
Your guys will be sitting in on all the classes having a had a pretty good nights rest in comparison to the newbies. They will be able to absorb, learn, and be more prepared for patrols because of this. They fully insert (meaning back to little to no sleep and food) on day 10. That’s a third of the way through the phase. Your guys will get it this time around. Keep smiling….it’s not over yet!
So that is the good news about recycling Darby!
